Bank of America Merrill Lynch is now welcoming applications for its eighth UK Returning Talent programme. Individuals who have been out of work for 12 months or longer (former stay-at-home parents or carers, or someone who has chosen to take a career break, for example), are invited to apply via the company’s Careers site. The application closing date is 15 December 2017.
The Bank is looking to attract individuals from a financial services background in areas such as Sales, Trading, Structuring and Research, Banking Operations, Technology, Finance, Project and Change management, to fill several London-based positions.
Following the success of earlier offerings, the 2018 programme commences with a conference (5 February 2018) giving 50 participants the opportunity to explore the changing workplace and begin to plan their return through a number value-added coaching workshops, speaker sessions and networking opportunities. Participants will also gain insight into Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a potential employer.
25 attendees will then be selected to attend two full-day workshops (21 and 23 February 2018), designed to support a transition back to work; offer practical guidance on focusing and managing a career search; provide interview skills sessions and insights into balancing work and home lives; and access to executive coaching. There will also be opportunities be numerous opportunities to network with bank employees. All sessions will be hosted at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s City offices.Dates and Application Process
