Webinar - Demystifying restructuring processes in Retail and Hospitality - 13:00 - 14:00 on 4 June 2020

The current economic climate has seen a number of high-profile brands in the retail and hospitality sectors going into administration, with many more facing uncertain futures. At the same time, stories have emerged about new ‘administration light’ processes, but there is uncertainty as to what these may mean for employees, customers and suppliers. In this webinar, PwC’s Mike Jervis and Zelf Hussain will provide an overview of the more common restructuring and administration processes seen in these sectors and will discuss some of the key issues facing businesses as concerns about the long-term viability of customers and suppliers may be brought into question. Following the formal presentation, delegates will have the opportunity to put their questions to Mike and Zelf.

This webinar will look at restructuring and administration processes commonly seen in the retail and hospitality sectors, and consider what businesses can do if they have concerns about their long-term viability or that of their key customers and suppliers.

While the webinar is aimed at general practice accountants, it may also be of interest to insolvency practitioners.

The webinar will

- explain common restructuring and administration scenarios in the retail and hospitality sector

- give practical insights on the steps businesses should take to protect themselves from clients or suppliers entering into an administration process.

The webinar is free to ICAEW members and members and subscribers to the following ICAEW Communities; Restructuring and Insolvency, Travel, Tourism and Hospitality and Retail
