I'm sure this has been asked before but I could only find one other post on this which is 8 years old - so asking again!
I'm preparing to set up as a sole practitioner and wanted to find out which software other sole practitioners are using. I will be starting out with offering annual accounts production and tax/VAT returns for companies, sole traders and partnerships. I'd like to find out the views of actual users of the software rather than what the software providers say about the products.
Also do you pay monthly fees or use of the software rather than buy it outright? I thought it would be more cost effective when starting out as well as eliminating obsolescence costs. What impact does MTD have on the choice of software? Any other things to consider?
Any views on the above would be welcome.
