Gender Pay Gap Reporting Regulations

Today - 6th April 2017 - the Gender Pay Reporting Regulations came into force.  This means that any organisation (whether in the public or private sector) with over 250 employees will have to publish a report detailing their  gender pay gap based on a number of different calculations. Organisations have a year to produce the first report but as it must be based on data on the snapshot dates of 5/4/17 (private sector) or 31/3/17 (public sector) there is no time to waste.

The expectation is that most organisations will report a gap, particularly with regard to bonuses, but how they choose to address the issue will be the key.
