What is a thesis?
A thesis or a final project is the alternative of final exam in disciplines such as humanities. They have different forms, but typically it is a paper that comprises everything a student has learnt in their respective discipline.
When it comes to write a thesis paper, some professors like to guide the students towards a more generalized area and you can narrow it down and come up with a more targeted topic.
Types of thesis
There are different types of thesis paper for different fields, for example, if you are an English major then for your thesis you can be asked to write a short story, a media student can be asked to submit a short film.
A graduate thesis also known as graduate dissertation is something a student works on with a member of the faculty who has specialized in the relevant field. A dissertation is 50-100 pages long. In fields such as science, it is based on an experiment whereas, for humanities, it is an extended version of your college paper.
Often students get stuck during this stage; they simply don’t know where to begin from. Before you start the thesis or dissertation writing, you should be done with the research phase and have all the information and prep work completed.
The next step is to write the introduction of your thesis paper. Well, it can be intimidating as a lot is relying on this introduction.
First of all, don't waste too much time thinking about the perfect introduction. If nothing good is coming to your mind then simply start with a placeholder. Write a rough draft of the introduction and come back and fix it once you are done with the rest of the paper.
Before you start writing the introduction, you must first identify the audience. Since you are writing a dissertation paper as a part of your school work, then your main reader is your professor grading your paper.
Also, think of your reader as someone who isn’t a specialist in your field --- write in such a manner that strengthens their understanding.
Provide your reader with a background context making it easier for them to understand what the topic is about.
Also, let them know why you have conducted the study, your motivation behind it and explain the scope and importance of your topic.
Add all of your key points and let the reader know what else is included in the paper. Explain the main argument in the body and at the end briefly discuss the supporting details.
That’s pretty much all you need to write an interesting thesis introduction. If I have missed something do let me know?
Such tasks are extremely hard for me and I always prefer to pay assignment writers to get things done when I have to complete such assignments. I don't really know why I am that bad at writing and I tried hard to improve my writing skills but nothing works and I just usie writing services lately not to bother about wiriting tasks at all.
