The next ICAEW Tax Faculty Making Tax Digital (MTD) webinar will be at 11:00 on 12 February 2019. Booking is now live and we recommend registering even if you aren't able to watch live as you will then be sent a direct link to view the webinar again later.
As a reminder, the Tax Faculty's MTD webinars are free to all ICAEW members.
MTD brings a fundamental change to the way accounting records must be kept and VAT returns submitted to HMRC, starting in April 2019. More information has been released by HMRC in recent weeks and we will explain how your business or your clients' businesses will be affected and what you must do.
This webinar will build on the September 2018 MTD webinar which covered the MTD for VAT requirements in detail (which we suggest is viewed in advance) and will focus on practical issues such as the sign-up process including the agent services account, exactly which records need to be kept digitally and what is meant by digital links. It will also cover the latest information on penalties, HMRC communications, the deferral to October 2019 for some businesses and the latest on the pilot.
Topics covered will include
There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
A link to the recording of the webinar will be sent to all registrants after the event.
Please be advised that booking for non-members will close 30 minutes prior to the event.
Join Sarah Ghaffari, Caroline Miskin and Anita Monteith for the next step in the MTD journey.
