The next and final digital Working Together meeting is on Wednesday 26 July 2017.
This meeting will include an overview of the new Agent Forum and the opportunity to be among the first agents to join. This online forum provides agents with the opportunity to raise potential widespread issues with tax systems and processes, to post evidence in support of issues raised by other agents, and to receive updates on these issues from HMRC. The forum has been trialed with a small number of agents and is now ready to be rolled out more widely.
Even though this is the final Working Together meeting, agents should consider joining to find out more about the Agent Forum which will become the route for agents to raise (and hear about) widespread issues.
The Issues Overview Group which has representatives from the main professional bodies will continue to monitor the issues being raised on the HMRC Agent Forum and press HMRC to take appropriate action.
