GDPR and what it means for the tax practitioner; join us for TAXtalk at 12:30 on Wednesday 14 February

The General Data Protection Regime (GDPR) keeps coming up in discussion.

If you handle personal data, perhaps for employees, for your clients or maybe information about donors in the case of charities, you will be affected.

If you are an agent, not only must you ensure your own data protection system complies with the new regime, but you will also be advising clients on what they might need to do.

With the new rules applying from 25 May 2018, can you afford not to watch TAXtalk at 12:30pm on Wednesday 14 February 2018 when Anita Monteith will be joined by Dr Jane Berney, Business Law Manager and Peter Bickley, Employment Taxes manager as they discuss what this means for tax practices? Why not watch with colleagues and then discuss how it will affect your business or your clients?

GDPR isn’t all we have been working on. The team will also consider aspects of the Government’s response to the Matthew Taylor report on modern working practices and also to some policy discussions we have been having on the rent a room relief call for evidence by HM Treasury.

There is no need to register to watch our free 30 minute TAXtalks and they can also be viewed again later from the TAXtalk home page.
