HMRC’s “Where’s My Reply?” service for agents

In its latest Agent Blog, HMRC explains its Where’s my reply? service. 

This online service enables agents to find out when to expect a reply from HMRC to a query or request. You can use it to check how long it will take HMRC to: 

  • register you as an agent to use HMRC Online Services,
  • process an application for authority to act on behalf of a client,
  • amend your agent details. 

If the query is about something other than the above, you can’t use Where’s my reply? But you can use the Dedicated helplines and contacts for tax agents.
