HMRC’s Online Services helpdesk – are you getting the support you need?

HMRC’s online service helpdesk (Tel: 0300 200 3600) is open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 4pm.
HMRC’s Digital Agenda is rapidly gaining pace and is creating an increased level of online activity. We are interested to learn if HMRC’s online services helpdesk is delivering the support you need, when you need it. The online services helpdesk offers help with the following:

·        If you’re having a problem logging on or registering for an online service

·        If you’re having problems submitting forms

·        If you’re receiving error messages in your online account or on HMRC forms

·        If you need technical help to download and use HMRC free software and tools

    I have been receiving demands for payment that have already been paid. I have tried ringing 0300 200 3817 to explain this many times.
    The phone number provided is audible initially but once the first number option has been selected my audible acuity is unable to pick up the second set of recorded options.
    I have tried faxing 03000 518344 many times but each time the print out says “ BUSY “ whatever time of day or night I have tried to fax you.
    Please supply a fax number that I can communicate with your employees or a land line number which caters with those whose audible acuity is less than perfect.
