Our business bank is Handelsbanken - they are not on the list of 40 accredited lenders for the coronavirus scheme - opening a new bank account is a lengthy process - does anyone know anymore about Handelsbanken inclusion in this scheme? Or, do any of the lenders not reqrirethe opening of a current account and will provide a loan.
The business is specialist recruitment in the property sector and the recruitment billing has literally fallen off a cliff with jobs withdrawn and companies ceasing to hire. Any information gratefully received.
Hi did you ever find out any further information regarding this and Handelsbanken
I work in the external affairs function for Handelsbanken.
We view the coronavirus business interruption scheme (CBILS) positively and have a dedicated team working with the British Business Bank on our accreditation, which is a precursor to participation. This accreditation process is not yet clearly mapped out, therefore we cannot fully determine how long this will take, or our overall ability to participate. We will of course communicate any update to our position with you, as soon as possible.I will also ask your account manager to get in touch with you.
Thanks for the response - our manager has been in touch - as you can imagine, immediate cashflow has almost completely dried up as every client attempts to retain cash so I hope that something will be forthcoming from Handelsbanken soon.
this is beautiful.
I have noticed a number of new lenders being accredited by the British Business Bank. I wondered if Handelsbanken has submitted its application to become an accredited bank for the CBIL programme. It would certainly be helpful for your business customers if Handelsbanken joins this platform keeping pace with all other major banking groups operational in the UK. Thank you
