HMRC have told us that the codes are sent out by First Class post.
One was issued on January 12 and the other on January 16. Neither have been received by the client.
HMRC have confirmed "issued" does mean "put in the postbox" and we have checked they used the correct address in both cases.
An update on the above - 38 days for HK. Instead client downloaded & signed a 64-8 which arrived in Mcr in 5 days & was processed by Newcastle in 7 days. The code for Bolton is 23 days and no sighting. I have another to Stockport which is 10 days & counting.
Is this the Real time information the IR are pushing?
