The 2019 Tech Faculty lecture will look at the impact of ethics on the development of new technologies. It will be presented by Oxford Academic Professor Luciano Floridi, who will consider the benefits of taking an ethical approach to new technologies, as well as some of the key challenges in implementation. The response will be given by Catherine Miller, Director of Policy of Doteveryone.org, and Kirstin Gillon will give an overview of the faculty’s latest thought leadership report, ‘New technologies, ethics and accountability’.
The event is taking place in London on 17 September at 6pm, but is also available via live stream at the same time. Full details of the event and how to attend/access are on the website
