New Innovate competition for investment into data access methods in accountancy

Access to data has always been a real pain point for accountants, and professional services more generally, and we have seen lots of discussions in recent months about how to improve capabilities and standards in this area. While it may not be the most glamorous topic, improvements here are vital and will underpin greater innovation in the sector, especially using AI and data analytics.

As a result, Innovate UK and its Next Generation Services programme has up to £3.5m to invest into collaborations around data access methods in the accountancy, legal and insurance sectors. They have just opened a new competition to join a 3-day residential Innovation Lab in October on this topic.

Details of the competition can be found here.

Briefings are being held in July and more information can be found here.
