Cloud accounting: Netsuite v Intacct

We are a small privately owned company with a head office in Australia and subsidiary companies in the UK and US.  We currently use Sage Line 50 in the UK and similar packages in the other two offices.  Monthly consolidation is done using a sophisticaed Excel file.  We have inventory but do not record time.


We are looking for a global accounting package that will complement Salesforce which we use for CRM.  The search started with the market leaders from Sage (accpac & X3) and Microsoft (Nav & GP).  I was leaning towards Nav when we suddenly veered to a cloud solution and are currently evaulating Intacct and Netsuite.

Netsuite is well established in the UK, although reading this forum it clearly had some issues up to 2009.  I would be interested to hear any issues since then.

Intacct is a mainly US based package but I know they are anxious to expand.  Does anyone have any views on using Intacct in particular outside the US?.
